The film of Chrigel Maurer’s Infinity world record is now available, just in time to land under every paraglider pilot’s Christmas tree.
The Berner Oberland, its icy mountains and the impressive Lauterbrunnen valley at Mürren were the backdrops for some fantastic film footage, all of which is bound to fascinate chair-borne viewers and pilots alike.
The DVD contains a very appealing five minute trailer, all 198 rotations of the world record flight, a large photo gallery and previously unreleased material from training flights. Specially impressive is the recording of the flight on which Chrigel takes off from the Jungfraujoch and, after overflying the Mönch and the Eiger, sets the earlier record total with 148 tumbles above Grindelwald. This feat of 148 continuous tumbles after a ground launch probably turned out to be more difficult to pull off than the record flight from the helicopter.

The DVD can be obtained direct from Chrigel Maurer via his homepage www.chrigelmaurer.ch or from all Advance flying schools.
The film will also be showing on the big screen at the SHV Sports party and at the Thermal Trade Fair in Sindelfingen.
