When we built the first prototype of the Mentor XXS we thought of very light pilots as target group. That's why we tested and certified the wing for a weight range from 60 to 80kg. (LTF 1-2 / EN B). During the test flights our heavier test pilots had lots of fun with the small Nova Mentor even around 100kg take off weight. We did all test manoeuvres at this weight and realised that the wing behaves safe, despite its high wing loading.

That's why we got the certification up to 100kg. (LTF 2-3 / EN C) The wing was only rated 2-3 for the accelerated asymmetric collapse.
The 18.6sqm wing has very easy and dynamic handling characteristics. The great performance makes thermalling really efficient, also in in rather weak conditions. In heavy and windy conditions it's great fun to fly such a fast and dynamic wing. And of course for different dynamic manouvres.
The first serial wings will be available soon at your Nova dealer.
Have fun! :-)
