The first SIGMA 7 Victory (XC Open in Andradas, Brazil)

Rainer Burger (DE) has won five of the six days’ runs and therefore overall victory in the Sport class at the XC Open in Andradas, Brazil. The previous XC Open World Series 2008 events were hosted by Manilla (AUS) and Piedrahita (ESP) before the final meeting in Andradas (BRA). The weather gods were yet again kind to the organisers and competitors. 6 valid tasks were flown, and with a total of 16 completed xc days the concept has proved itself in that the contests have proved to be well in tune with local weather conditions.

Rainer Burger dominated the sport class in this competition with his new SIGMA 7. He won five of the six runs and finished a creditable eleventh in the open results. Hearty congratulations!



From the 15th to the 22nd of November there will be a pre XC Open event in De Aar (ZA). The XC Open World Series 2009 starts on February 14th 2009 in Manilla (AUS).
